How to activate Earthlink email?
Though 8 email addresses are offered on most Earthlink internet plans, one needs to create them first. You can do this yourself in a few minutes from the Earthlink web site- all you need is a web browser!
- Open the default browser program on your computer and point it to myaccount.earthlink.net or click that link.
- Login at the Earthlink My Account page using the primary email address and password.
- Go to the Email Profiles section and click “Add a New Email Profile“.
- The service will now guide you through the simple steps of creating an Earthlink email address.
Accessing your Earthlink email account
Like other popular services, Earthlink email can be accessed via webmail and an email program. The former is quicker and simpler because no additional software is needed – just the web browser. However, though there are many advantages of using webmail, there are a few limitations too!
A majority of people however access email accounts using programs called email clients. These can download and store email on your computer which would be available even without an internet connection.
