I want to use Shaw email with Outlook Express and I already have the program on my Windows XP computer. Shaw told me that I need to set up the email account but have no idea how to proceed. Would greatly appreciate any help in this matter.

Your Shaw email account can easily be set up in Outlook Express, the default email program on Windows XP computer. With this you would be able to download and store messages on your computer; thus, email is accessible even without an internet connection.

If you have multiple Shaw email accounts, all of them can be set up in the email client. You can either use Outlook Express Identities to segregate the different users or just put them together and then create message rules to sort incoming email to different folders.
Shaw email in Outlook Express – set up instructions
To send, receive and store emails though Outlook Express, you have to first set up the Shaw.ca account in the email program. All you are required to know are the username, password and the Shaw Communications incoming and outgoing email servers. Step by step instructions are given below along with screenshots.
Congratulations! You have successfully been able to set up the Shaw.ca email account in Outlook Express.
If you have other email addresses you can add them in the program in exactly the same manner. FYI, emails from different accounts land in the common Outlook Express inbox. You can segregate them as they arrive at your computer by creating Outlook Express message rules.
I can’t remember my Shaw email password.
