The first Homebrew Computer Club meeting took place in the garage of Gordon French in Menlo Park, CA, on 5th March 1975. Several future entrepreneurs and programmers were a part of the Homebrew Club including the founders of Apple. The Homebrew Computer Club has been shown in many movies like Jobs (2013) and Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999).
