- Song of the Year and Record of the Year went to Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu (Volare) by Domenico Modugno.
- Album of the Year award is awarded to Henry Mancini for The Music from Peter Gunn.
- Tom Dooley by the The Kingston Trio wins the Best Country & Western Performance.
- Ella Fitzgerald wins two awards – one for Best Jazz Performance (Individual) and the other for Best Vocal Performance Pop (Female).
- Best Vocal Performance (Male) award goes to Perry Como for Catch a Falling Star.
- Tequila by The Champs wins Best Rhythm & Blues Performance.
