William Cooke and Charles Wheatstone demonstrated the first commercial use of the electrical telegraph on 25th July 1837. The communication took place between Euston and Camden Town in London. Cooke and Wheatstone went on to found Electric Telegraph Company, the world’s first public telegraph company.
