The International Labour Day is observed on the 1st of May each year.

An annual holiday in many parts of the world, Labour Day celebrates the achievements of workers. The day has it’s origins in the labour union movement.

Though Labour Day is almost synonymous with International Workers’ Day, it may be celebrated on other days in some countries.
