Chesley Bonestell Death Anniversary

American painter and illustrator who, along with Lucien Rudaux, is regarded as the "Father of Modern Space Art". He is famous for pioneering astronomical art. Bonestell’s work influenced science fiction art and helped inspire the American space program.
