Vannevar Bush Birthday

American engineer and inventor known for starting and early administration of the Manhattan Project. He also constructed a differential analyser which was an analog computer that could solve differential equations. Additionally, Bush developed the idea of memex, a hypothetical hypertext microfilm viewer, which, many consider, laid the foundation of the World Wide Web. He was one of the co-founders of Raytheon, the major American defence contractor.
