Unlimited storage announced by Yahoo! Mail.

On 27th March 2007, Yahoo! Mail announced unlimited free storage for users. This was done to combat the strong competition from Google’s Gmail service. However, the decision was reversed a few years later when, on 8th October 2013, unlimited storage was reduced to 1TB.
