RMS Titanic hit an iceberg in the North Atlantic on 14th April 1912 at 11:40 pm. The “unsinkable” ship went underwater the next morning, taking down more than 1,500 people. RMS Titanic had been launched from Southampton dock on its first and final voyage four days back.
