Hello, I have been using your web site regularly for various computer problems. Thanks for putting up such easy information for us beginners. However, I cannot find instructions on how to enable Sky email POP3. Apparently, this is required before I can download Sky email to my computer using POP.

Yes, you have to first enable the POP (Post Office Protocol version 3 or POP3) option on the Sky account before you can download email to your computer. This is a very simple thing to do!
Login at your account via the My Sky page and move to the “Email & Tools” section. Now click the large “Email” icon and patiently wait for the page to load. Locate “Mail Settings” (close to the top-right at the time of writing) and click on this link.
Once in the “Settings” section, move to “Forwarding and POP“.
Select the “Enable POP for all mail” option. You can also choose to have the messages deleted once they have been downloaded to your computer or keep a copy on the Sky servers for online access via webmail. Make sure you “Save” the changes you’ve made.
That’s it! POP3 (Post Office Protocol) has successfully been enabled on your Sky email account.
