Ernest Rutherford Death Anniversary

British physicist born in New Zealand regarded as the father of nuclear physics. He was one of the great experimentalists and made many significant discoveries like the proton, radioactive half-life, alpha and beta radioactivity and many more. Rutherford proposed an atomic model based on his discovery of the atomic nucleus.
