WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange requests asylum

Julian Assange requested asylum at Ecuadorian Embassy in London on 19^th June 2012 on fears of being extradited to the United States. WikiLeaks, the web site he had founded, had published classified US documents including footage of civilian killings by the US Army.
