American engineer famous for co-developing the micro-processor, ARCNET, APlink, and Winlink amongst others. He made several contributions to hardware and software architecture that lead to the development of the first successful microprocessor, the Intel 8008 and the first personal computer, the Datapoint 2200 programable terminal.
