The UFO Day is celebrated on the 24th June of each year. It marks the anniversary of the 1947 sighting by aviator Kenneth Arnold of nine strange objects flying in tandem near Mount Rainier, Washington.
This happened a few days before the, now more popular, Roswell UFO Incident (2nd July 1947) in which a UFO supposedly crashed at Roswell, New Mexico. July 2 is celebrated as the World UFO Day.
