Tor web browser was released on 20th September 2002. It uses the Tor network by which users can browse and communicate online without leaving traces of their activity or location. This is achieved through “onion routing” and utilises a free, volunteer-based worldwide network consisting of more than 7,000 relays to hide the location of the user. Tor is 100% free.
