Robert L. Forward Death Anniversary

American physicist, aerospace engineer and science fiction writer. His popular works include the Dragon’s Egg series and Rocheworld series. Forward is also known for statite, a hypothetical artificial satellite that uses a solar sail to modify its orbit so that it remains static and hovers over a location.
