Mona Lisa, one of the most famous paintings of all time, was exhibited in the US for the first time on 8th January 1963 at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. The painting created by Leonardo Da Vinci is probably a portrait of Lisa del Giocondo, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo.
