Howard H. Aiken Birthday

American physicist and a pioneer in computing who designed the ASCC (Automatic Sequence Controlled Calculator). The ASCC received funding from IBM and was completed and installed at Harvard as IBM Harvard Mark I. Aiken also played a significant roles in the later models the Harvard Mark II – IV.
