The 15th of June has been set aside as the Global Wind Day.
The aim of the Global Wind Day is spread awareness on wind energy and to educate people on the advantages of using this environment-friendly energy source for power and other aspects of our lives.
The day is organised by European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) and Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC).
