First moving assembly line introduced at Ford Motor Company

The first moving assembly line was introduced at the Ford Motor Company on 1^st December 1913. The company had sold their first motor car a decade back. Henry Ford is generally credited to have invented the assembly line which is is incorrect. He, however, he was the first to apply it successfully in industrial manufacture.
