First hot air balloon circumnavigation.

First hot air balloon flight circumnavigating the Earth was completed on 20th March 1999 by Bertrand Piccard and Brian Jones. The navigators had started on the 1st of March 1999 (incidentally Bertrand Piccard’s birthday) and finished a tad less than 20 days later covering 45,755 kilometres.
