Don Figlozzi Birthday

American artist who started as an animator and later became famous as a cartoonist. His famous work include Popeye, FIGure This and Scramblegrams. His cartoons in the New York Daily News were signed "Fig". It is also suggested that Figlozzi may have created the first animations used on TV.
