Andy Worhol exhibited his Campbell’s Soup Cans art work on 9th July 1962. It consisted of 32 canvasses 20 inches in height and 16 inches in width. Each of the canvas represented a variety of Campbell soup sold at that time. This exhibition marks the birth of pop art as a major art movement.
The art work was displayed at the Ferus Gallery in Los Angeles.
