First hot air balloon circumnavigation

First hot air balloon flight circumnavigating the Earth was completed on 20^th March 1999 by Bertrand Piccard and Brian Jones. The navigators had started on the 1^st of March 1999 (incidentally Bertrand Piccard’s birthday) and finished a tad less than 20 days later covering 45,755 kilometres.
