René Lacoste Birthday

French tennis player and one of The Four Musketeers who dominated the game in the 1920s and 30s. He is credited to have created the polo shirt and set up a business around it. The logo of his company, Lacoste, is a crocodile which is based on the nickname he was given by his fans. Lacoste was the world’s #1 player in 1926 and 1927.
