Rabies vaccine successfully tested by Louis Pasteur

On the 6^th on July 1885, the rabies vaccine was successfully tested by Louis Pasteur. The renowned French chemist and microbiologist, administered the vaccine to Joseph Meister, an 9-year old boy, who had been bitten by a rabid dog.
