A well-preserved body was discovered at Lindow Moss, Cheshire, England on 1st August 1984. It was found by commercial peat-cutters and dubbed the Lindow Man (also known as Lindow II). It has been dated to be between 2 BC and 119 AD old, and is either from the Iron Age or the Romano-British period. The body is of a male in his mid-20s.
