Jacobus Henricus van ‘t Hoff Death Anniversary

Dutch chemist who was awarded the very first Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1901. He is famous for his research on chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, osmotic pressure and stereochemistry. These laid the foundation of the field of physical chemistry.
