Greatest discoverer of comets discovers his first

Jean-Louis Pons discovered his first comet on 11^th July 1801. The French astronomer discovered a total of 36 comets in the next 27 years. This is the largest number of comets ever found and recorded by anyone, which makes Pons the greatest comet discoverer in history.
