Roadrunner is a U.S. based company that provides high speed internet access. Each new customer who signs up for their services is given a master email account with which one can get four more Roadrunner email addresses. Thus, each member of you family can have their own email boxes all located under the same service.

The master account name is based on the metro area from where you have taken Roadrunner services. Thus, the master account name for residents of Tampa Bay Florida would be something like Joe@tampabay.rr.com. The master account login information (username and password) is very important because it’s used to access the online Roadrunner Self Care web site and create other sub email accounts; please do not share this information with others.

  1. A Sub User is added from the “User Management” section. Click the “Create New Sub User” link – [Slide 1].
  2. A simple form is shown – type in a Sub User ID, the first and last names and the password (twice). Please note that all form fields are required.
The new sub user Roadrunner email ID must be 1-32 characters long and consist of only letters, numbers, the underscore, hyphen and the period. Important: The ID cannot begin with a period character.
FYI, you can only get a username if it’s available and not in use by another subscriber.
The password needs to be entered twice and should be 8 to 12 characters in length containing only numbers and letters. Refer how to make a password for tips that will protect your online accounts from hacker attacks.
  3. Once you’ve provided all the required information, click the “Create New Sub User” button – [Slide 3].
  4. Though a new sub user account has been created and listed in the “User Management” section, it is inactive! Click “Enable User” link – [Slide 4].
  5. In the next window, select the “Enabled” option and click the “Update” button – [Slide 5].

Please understand that this Roadrunner email address is based on the Sub User ID chosen at the time you created that account. It may take a few minutes for the newly made accounts to be properly functional – please be patient.
