Galileo Galilei becomes first astronomer to observe Neptune

On 28^th December 1612, Galileo Galilei became the first astronomer to observe the planet Neptune. The great astronomer incorrectly classified the planet as a fixed star. Galileo had demonstrated the telescope on 25 August 1609.
