Franck-Hertz experiment presented to German Physical Society

Franck-Hertz experiment was presented to the German Physical Society by James Franck and Gustav Hertz on 24^th April 1914. The experiment showed the quantum nature of atoms and changed our understanding of the world. The two scientists were awarded the 1925 Nobel Prize in Physics for their work.
