First U.S. television commercial telecast.

7 December, 1930

The first television commercial in the United States was broadcast on 7th December 1930 on WIXAV in Boston, Massachusetts. The commercial was by I.J. Fox Furriers who had sponsored the original radio show on CBS, the video of which the TV channel had telecast.
