On 7th August 1944, the first program-controlled calculator was dedicated by IBM. The Automatic Sequence Controlled Calculator (ASCC) was a general purpose computer used in the war effort during the last part of World War II. The ASCC is also known as Mark I by Harvard University staff.
McDonalds sold their last hamburger in Iceland in October 2006. The chain then closed shop in the country. The hamburger still exists at the Bus Hostel Reykjavik, Iceland and has a live online video feed. [more...]
