Eric S. Raymond Birthday

American computer programmer and software developer known for his essay, The Cathedral and the Bazaar, later made in to a book of the same name, which describes the development of the Linux kernel and his own experiences in managing fetchmail, an open source project. He has also authored the guidebook of NetHack, a Roguelike game.
