Auguste Lumière Birthday

French scientist regarded as the world’s first film maker along with his brother, Louis Lumière. The brothers filmed the world’s first movie Sortie de l’usine Lumière de Lyon (1895) and played it for a paying audience using their patented cinematograph which gave birth to cinema.
