  4. UN English Language Day

Established by the UNESCO in 2010, the UN English Language Day is meant promote equally all six of the official languages of the organization.

The day was chosen because it is the death anniversary of William Shakespeare, who died on April 23, 1616.
FYI, the birthday of the great English bard is not known. However, we do know the day on which Shakespeare was baptised – 26th April 1564.
