Soft cloning in PSP
Sponsored Links
(PSP Version 5 and above)
Soft cloning is a technique through which an image is copied on another with a very light brush. I first came across it in MetaCreations Painter 3D used extensively by one of my friends.
I came home, ready to purchase the software, when it struck me that Paint Shop Pro also has a similar tool.
The Clone brush tool
does the same job in PSP and I started playing with it. However, I was not satisfied with the result. After much tweaking, I finally came up with these values for the various settings in the control palette. The two important values are step=22 and opacity. You can change the brush size depending upon your image size. The Clone mode should be set to Aligned and you can experiment with paper textures.
