Forgot AOL security question / answer

• Open "bill.aol.com page in a browser window.
• Sign in by providing the correct username and password.
• Since you've forgotten the answer to the AOL security question, click on the "Forgot Account Security Question" link.
  
• You are now presented with the CAPTCHA puzzle and have to decipher the characters displayed. The visually impaired might find this challenging and I suggest clicking "Can't see this image?" link for help.
  
• Time to prove your identity! Let AOL know your birthday, gender and the zip code. Please understand that these should be the same what you had supplied at the time of getting the AOL email address.
  
• Select a new security question from the list and type in the answer two times.
  
• Once security question and the answer have been changed, AOL will show a success message.
  

Remember, when you make an AOL email account, all the personal information that is provided is used to verify your identity. Thus, AOL assumes that you had specified the correct day of your birth and the zip code... and yes, the gender!
