NBC (National Broadcasting Company) was founded by the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) on 19th June 1926. It is now the oldest major network in the United States having made the first radio broadcast on 15th November 1926. NBC is sometimes referred to as the Peacock Network because of their logo which was introduced on the 12th of May 1993.
