Garfield, the lazy gluttonous cat, made his debut on 19th June 1978. Since his first appearance, Garfield has been authored by Jim Davis and is set in Muncie, Indiana, the home of Davis.
Garfield holds a Guinness World Record for being the world’s most widely syndicated comic strip.
