I’d like to set up my Outlook Express email account but I’m having problems. I’ve gone over the instructions provided by you but I don’t know what are the Outlook Express incoming and outgoing email servers. Could you please help me use the Comcast email on my computer?

Outlook Express, as most of you would know, is an email client that lets you download and store email messages on your computer. The first step in using Outlook Express is to setup a new email account. And for that you need to know the following:
- Your email address and login details (username and password)
- Incoming and outgoing email server information
- The username and password of the outgoing email server (if required)
What are the Outlook Express incoming and outgoing email servers?
Please understand that Outlook Express is simply an email program. It’s your job to provide it with the incoming and outgoing email server information. And you can get these from the company that provides the email service. Thus, this information will change depending on the company and sometimes even the region.
Comcast users need to put in the Comcast incoming and outgoing mail server information when setting up the email account in Outlook Express.
- Comcast incoming email server: mail.comcast.net
- Comcast outgoing email server: smtp.comcast.net
