If you are obsessed with Google (most web developers and bloggers are) and have a little spare time, here is a great page I came across in the corporate section of the Google’s web site. It showcases the company history in an interactive timeline. I liked the way the page has been laid out and the important events and happenings listed each year. Great stuff.

Changes to Google.com homepage and Google logo
The thing that really found interesting were the different Google logos (you know those doodles). And for those who want more, check out the “Official and unofficial Google logos” at Google-logos.com. The “1998″ category shows what the logo was before – and the turkey was the first character to be included with the logo (in 1998 Thanksgiving, of course).
Replicating the Google timeline script
The interactive page of Google’s history has a great functional script that can be used on web presentations – time based or not. I would be trying to replicate it the coming weekend; only hope I get some free time to do it.
