Why I decided not to buy the iPad?

Google page changed

There is immediately flurry of activity in the Blogsphere whenever Google announces or does something new. Fortunately for readers of the WebDevelopersNotes Blog, my take on the latest changes implemented by Google comes a couple of weeks late. Why “fortunately”? Because you would not have to wade through another blog post that’s saying the same darn thing. Oh yes, the Google page has changed but that’s not all I would be mentioning in this post.

Transfer contacts from Windows Live Hotmail (MSN) email account

Thanks to your instructions, I was able to change my Hotmail email address; I actually created a new email account as the old one was getting a lot of spam. I now want to know how to transfer the Contacts from my old Hotmail email account to the new Windows Live (MSN) email address.

The easiest way to transfer the contacts information across Windows Live Hotmail email accounts is to use the export and import functionality. This is as simple as it sounds and we shall use a CSV file. The screenshots and steps described below have been worked out on Microsoft’s free email service – whether your email address ends in msn.com, hotmail.com, live.com

Import contacts from computer to Windows Live Hotmail

How can I import contacts that I have on my computer to the Windows Live Hotmail email account. The information is in Windows Contacts and I want to get this contacts list to the online email account. I suppose this would not be a difficult job but I am confused and not very proficient with computers.

It is indeed quite easy to import contacts information that you have on your computer to a Windows Live Hotmail email account. All it takes is to export the Windows Contacts data to a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file and upload it to the online email service.

Updates: May 2010

Been very busy the past month. How? Drinking and building campfires in front of our log cabin in Oklahoma every night (check photographs at the bottom of this post), getting tanned on St. Pete beach in Tampa and accompanying my wife to shopping sprees at the Allen outlets in Dallas.

Finally made it home by “going around the volcanic ash” on a BA flight. Here are updates to some pages that should have been done at the beginning of this month.

Chrome and Firefox in the Google Pack
